Davante Adams had a way of dominating practices during his two-plus years with the Las Vegas Raiders. Practice-squad cornerbacks could rarely keep up with the three-time All-Pro receiver as his preparation at the team's Henderson headquarters stood out as much as what he did at Allegiant Stadium on game day. Hobbs regularly challenged Adams in training camp so he had a respect for how difficult an assignment it could be, especially when he saw a brand-new teammate do the job admirably. Hobbs remembered Kyu Blu Kelly, “staying right on (Adams') hip,” shortly after arriving to the Raiders in August after being cut loose by the Washington Commanders.
