The Las Vegas Raiders tried their hand at quick fixes at the quarterback position on multiple occasions in recent years, but they have failed miserably in their attempts. The most recent example came when the Raiders signed Gardner Minshew in free agency in 2024, with the goal of having him compete with Aidan O'Connell for the starting job, which Minshew eventually won. O'Connell has since taken over in between injuries but hasn't done enough to lock himself in as the long-term starter. The Raiders should be going back to the drawing board in 2025, and their goal must be to land a young quarterback in the NFL Draft.
