The Las Vegas Raiders and All-Pro running back Josh Jacobs reportedly made no progress on agreeing to a long-term contract until the closing days prior to Monday's deadline. Tafur suggested that Jacobs and the Raiders never got particularly close to a deal, by comparing his situation to that of Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Evan Engram, who got $24 million guaranteed on a three-year deal.
