In a recent article by Sam Monson of Pro Football Focus, he ranked all 32 offensive lines in the NFL after Week 9. The Raiders came in at No. 22, dropping four spots from last week.
In the article, Monson discussed Dylan Parham, who struggled in a big way in Week 9 against the Jaguars. Here is what he had to say about the rookie guard of the Raiders:
“Dylan Parham had a tough game against Jacksonville, surrendering six pressures — tying with Alex Bars for the most on the team. The line ranks above average in pass protection but below average in run blocking despite the team’s rushing success at times.”
Parham has really struggled over the last two weeks, allowing 11 pressures. Before that, he had surrendered just 14 pressures in the first six games of the season.
Like everyone else on the roster, his performance has only gotten worse after the bye week. It’s not a surprise to see a rookie struggle. But the Raiders need their third-round pick at left guard to step it up if they want to have any more success on offense going forward.
