Raiders have begun contract extension talks with QB Derek Carr

While there were some discussions and rumors this offseason that the Raiders would explore moving on from Carr, that is clearly not going to be the case with Adams in the fold. Carr is entering the final year of his contract in 2022, but that shouldn’t be the case for very much longer. According to Vic Tafur of The Athletic, the Raiders have already begun contract talks with Carr.
