Raiders, Washington Wednesday injury report: TE Darren Waller misses practice

Last Thursday the Raiders lost Darren Waller for the second half with knee and back injuries. Wednesday they took the practice field without the Pro Bowl tight end as they prepare to face Washington this week. Interim head coach Rich Bisaccia said on Monday that Waller is “Week-to-week” and could potentially miss this week. “We’ll see where he is,” Bisaccia said of Waller. “I know he improved the first day, which happens a lot of the time. Missing for Washington was S Landon Collins (foot), C Tyler Larson (knee), RB JD McKissic (concussion), G Wes Schweitzer (ankle), and CB Benjamin St-Juste (concussion). Preview: Washington Football Team's Offense vs. Raiders Defense

Gibson is coming off having 36 touches on Monday, totaling 29 carries for a season-high 111 yards and seven catches. Silver Minings: Raiders' playoffs odds increase slightly after win over the Cowboys

While the Las Vegas Raiders helped themselves — and received some help from other teams around the league — in Week 12, we enter December with their playoff odds still being long. According to the Football Outsiders, Las Vegas has a 24.7 percent change of making the playoffs with six games to go in the 2021 season. That seems a tad daunting, but their odds did increase as they improved to 6-5 after a Thanksgiving Day overtime win at the Dallas Cowboys.
