What Raiders Must Consider Before Drafting Jeanty
The Las Vegas Raiders sustained massive losses in free agency, including several starters, which added to the roster's holes. Although the Raiders have added a veteran quarterback and running back to their roster, they also possess the No. 6 pick in the NFL Draft. It is only a matter of which player the Raiders select. The Raiders have struggled to run the ball over the past two seasons.

Biggest Area Raiders Defense Must Improve on
The Las Vegas Raiders defense was strong last season, holding down what they could as well as giving their offense a chance to win games. While the team didn't do a whole lot of winning last season for several reasons, the franchise's defense going into the new campaign has to keep the defense up to par. Last season, the Raiders defense ranked 15th in the National Football League in terms of total defense. Averagely allowing 333.1 yards per game, the Raiders were dead set in the middle of the pack.

The Raiders were reserved in free agency, but bringing back Koonce was the right focus
In hindsight, the Las Vegas Raiders felt that last season started going south days before it even began. A turning point might have come in the second official game-week practice of the year ahead of the opener against the Los Angeles Chargers, when edge rusher Malcolm Koonce suffered a season-ending torn ACL. Las Vegas wound up one of the most injured teams in the NFL on the season as a whole, with coach-at-the-time Antonio Pierce later pinpointing the loss of Koonce as hurting the worst of all the absences. Teammates including fellow edge rusher and superstar Maxx Crosby spoke of being heartbroken for the 26-year-old, third-round NFL Draft pick out of the University of Buffalo.

Raiders have painfully obvious WR to sign after Stefon Diggs signs with Patriots
This second wave of free agency has been slow-going, but the Las Vegas Raiders still have a clear need to address whether it be this avenue or the 2025 NFL Draft. One more free agent wide receiver just left the market as Stefon Diggs signed a three-year deal with the New England Patriots. With free agent talent drying up, there are still some notable names looking for their next team. With Diggs off the market, it should seem clearer than ever that the Raiders should go out and bring in an old friend of Pete Carroll.

Shedeur Sanders projected to get passed on by the Raiders in latest NFL Mock Draft
Former Las Vegas Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce had one job to do, which was to make sure the organization was able to secure the top pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. The Raiders fell short of doing that by beating the New Orleans Saints, positioning themselves with the sixth-overall pick next month. ...

The Raiders a Playoff Team in 2025?
The Las Vegas Raiders were once a team that saw the post-season regularly in the NFL. From the 80's and the 90's, they were a team that, on any given year, was a lock to make the playoffs. Ever since 2000, they've only made the playoffs five times. In 2002, they made it all the way to the Super Bowl, but they fell short to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Nailing Draft's Mid Rounds Crucial for Raiders
In January, the Las Vegas Raiders hired Pete Carroll as their head coach, signaling that they have grown impatient with consistent losing. Carroll had 11 winning seasons in 13 years with the Seattle Seahawks. At least, not as the roster is currently constructed. Despite Carroll being 73 years old, it could take a while before this Raiders' roster is ready to compete in the AFC.

Stefon Diggs predicted to finally make free agency decision by signing with ascending AFC squad
A return to the Houston Texans is still possible for Diggs, but A to Z Sports' Justin Churchill believes the Las Vegas Raiders are an ideal landing spot for the four-time Pro Bowler. Diggs has met with the New England Patriots, so that could be inevitable, but the Raiders need a big-time WR, and if Diggs is that of what he used to be, he would fit the mold perfectly.

REPORT: Mocks Continue to Link Jeanty to Raiders
The Las Vegas Raiders have been hard at work evaluating who will best suit them in the 2025 NFL Draft. The Raiders could go in many different directions with this pick. Two TE's That Should Be on Raiders Draft Radar
The Las Vegas Raiders have had a ton of predictions surrounding what direction they are going with their first round pick in the upcoming NFL Draft. While there are a slew of star studded options to consider in round one, the Raiders shouldn't look past the talent that falls to them in round two and beyond. Given the success that the Raiders got with their first round draft pick last season in tight end Brock Bowers, the franchise has been rumored to be looking to move on from the teams' 2023 second round draft pick in Michael Mayer, giving the front office more to look at in the upcoming tight end draftee department.

Where Raiders Top WR Targets Fall on Draft Board
The Las Vegas Raiders will look to add another viable target to their offense in hopes of making life easier on Geno Smith and offensive coordinator Chip Kelly. The NFL Draft has a deep wide receiver class in 2025 and Pro Football Focus' Trevor Sikkema compiled a top 300 prospects big board, and plenty of Raiders targets landed high.

When the Los Angeles Chargers brought back a familiar face in Mike Williams, many speculated that they could do the same with Keenan Allen. Both Williams and Allen were let go last offseason by the team due to cap reasons, but now have the opportunity to join forces again on the Bolts. The Raiders Can Approach the Draft in Multiple Ways
The Las Vegas Raiders have made several coaching staff and roster changes this offseason as they look to move on from a disappointing past two seasons. Las Vegas has had a long list of issues, and free agency has been added. Although the Raiders lost nearly half of their defensive starters early in free agency, they replaced them at a reasonable price. How the Raiders' free agency signings pan out remains to be seen, but they have rightfully approached a weak free agency period with caution while filling roster needs.

Why Raiders Should Consider Texas Star WR in Draft
The Las Vegas Raiders are considering all options as they prepare for the 2025 NFL Draft. General Manager John Spytek has nine selections to work with in the draft, which is plenty to build the foundation of a roster. The Raiders must address the wide receiver position this offseason. Las Vegas has not signed a wide receiver in free agency yet, signaling that it could focus on the draft to add young pass-catchers.

Patriots Should Make This Trade With Raiders
Austin Hooper is also in his 30s. While both produced well last season - 111 catches for 1,150 yards and five touchdowns between the two of them - New England could use another capable tight end, preferably a young player with a bright future who could grow into a top performer over the coming years. After all, Hooper re-signed but it was only a one-year deal. Tight end isn't considered among the top priorities for New England this off-season, but most believe it's an area that needs some attention.

One Prospect Raiders Shouldn't Look Past in NFL Draft
The Las Vegas Raiders inch closer and closer to the big decision day in the NFL Draft, with several predictions being thrown the franchise's way on who they should select The franchise holds the sixth overall pick in the draft, meaning they will need countless plan B options if certain prospects go earlier than anticipated. One prospect that the franchise shouldn't look past, should he fall to them past the first round, is cornerback Trey Amos out of Mississippi. Amos was recently listed in a four round mock draft by NFL.com's Chad Reuter, landing with the franchise in the second round following taking Ashton Jeanty with their first round pick.

After trading for Geno Smith, the Raiders have addressed their most pressing need this offseason and can focus on other areas on the roster. Why It's Foolish for Raiders to Pass on Jeanty
The Las Vegas Raiders have a chance to start the Pete Carroll-John Spytek era on the right note. By landing a superstar in the 2025 NFL Draft, they will endear themselves to fans and give them something to come to Allegiant Stadium for. The Raiders have needed a spark on the football field and to their culture for quite some time. If Jeanty is on the board and the Raiders do not go with him, they would be making a massive mistake.

The Las Vegas Raiders have not made the playoffs since 2021, something they hope to change this year. Raider Nation is growing impatient with not having a winning football team, and they hope the Pete Carroll-John Spytek regime can finally break through.
