Raiders, Chiefs Thursday injury report: DT Quinton Jefferson returns to practice

Not much changed for the Raiders between Wednesday and Thursday’s practices. Still not practicing were DE Carl Nassib (knee), LB Patrick Onwuasor (hamstring), LB Denzel Perryman (ankle), and TE Darren Waller (knee/back). One starter did return to practice, however. DT Quinton Jefferson missed Wednesday’s practice with back spasms. He was a Limited participant in practice on Thursday. Interim Head Coach Rich Bisaccia had hoped Jefferson would return today, saying on Wednesday “Hopefully we get him back tomorrow, for sure by Friday.”   Quinton Jefferson (back) returned to practice for #Raiders pic.twitter.com/8A8NhncVRY — Levi Damien (@LeviDamien) December 9, 2021 Bisaccia had other injury updates on Wednesday as well. “[Darren] Waller still is day-to-day and we’ll see how [Denzel] Perryman does a little bit more towards the end of the week,” Bisaccia added. “Patrick [Onwuasor] would be out right now. We put Kenyan Drake and Nick Kwiatkoski on IR. Nick for sure for three weeks and Kenyan will be done for the year. Carl Nassib ran around with the training staff over on the side today, so we’ll see where he’s at. I’ll know a little bit more by Friday on him.” Trayvon Mullen could come off injured reserve this week as well. Email Sign up Like this article?
